Something I discovered recently and I am really excited about is the Google Art Project. Google has created an archive of art collections from museums around the world. You can zoom way, way in and see every tiny brush stroke. You can read notes about each piece, even view related videos. It’s amazing!

I can’t imagine it’s anywhere near complete. At least, several of my favorites from by Imogen Cunningham aren’t listed yet. But I love seeing what’s already there. I love this painting, Lilacs, by Charles Ethan Porter.

The NotWedding Orlando 2012

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to be a part of The NotWedding Orlando and designed 8 tables showcasing a wide spectrum of styles and materials. Each item in some way was handmade, whether completely made from scratch or bought and altered in some way.
